Exploding Box

Here are instructions for an exploding box .
I used 12x12 cards stock 4 sheets

Cut my card stock to 9"x9"
8 1/2" x 8 1/2 "
8 1/4"x 8 1/4"

 Then you need to score
9x9 = score at 3 " turn card score at 3" keep going all round
8 1/2x 81/2 = Had to go to cms as i got really confused .. score at 7.2 cms
8 1/4x 8 1/4 =  score at 2 3/4 " ( back to inches)

 cut off the 4 corner squares to leave a cross

 score all your cards

 only glue / tape the center panel
on large and medium
stack on top as you are glueing/ taping

 The Lid

you will need 6 1/4 " x 6 1/4" card stock

as with the inners you need to score at 1 1/2 " all round

and fold your score lines

 

 cut a small triangle out of each corner
fold this under your straight edge and glue

Finished product just waiting to be decorated

Hope thats easy to understand this is the first time i have made one of these that didnt fall apart lol

Match box

Aletered matchbox for swap on Fiona's blog Matchbox swap

I downloaded the template from here

Printed off the template and cut it out

Drew round card stock 

 cut out and scored

Glued together

and voila

Done :)

Great wee something something and a great idea,

A5 easle card instructions

Ok here we go i have taken pictures of both the designs i use 1 is a full front card other is a half front card. It's entirely up to you which one you use. I use both depending on the image and backing sheets i want to use .



You need A4 sheet of card
Score board or decent ruller and score tool
Backing Papers and Image



firstly take you A4 card and score on the A4 half fold line (or find the middle of the card) This is your A5 card blank

Score again at the A4 gatefold line ( or half way to fold on front of the card)

This makes your basic easle shape. The same rules are for any size or shap find your middle and quarter and score both .

There are a few ways to decorate the front you can either use the blank as it is and decorate the front and add the image ,

or you can cut another piece of card to A5 size and glue to the front of the card. Only glue to the first score mark or this will not work .

Also decorate the inside as you will see this

You need something to hold the easle together at the front .. you can use anything flowers, buttons anything as long as it's raised so it can be used as a stopper. I have just cut a small panel and mounted on foam tape .

Wallet card / Instructions

Nancy Watts made a wallet card on Create and Craft this morning and i have made one before so thought i would add instructions for anyone who needed them

You need 2x  4" x8" cards

1x    3 3/4" x 7 1/2" card           

Score the 4" x8"  at 4" to make a square card blank

cut 2" off the front of one card only

Take other card (4" x4" square) add tape or other glue to  one panel

Join this to the other card

Now take the 3 3/4 " card blank and glue to to the inside card

I Punched a design to the 2" flap added ribbon

Matt and Layered card stock and added image and voila done pretty differant card

I used spellbinders circles to make a stopped to keep the flap down .. glued it at the bottom only so the flap sits inside the top
